The new Eco-Friendly Picking machine by AFRON is a buttery powered SA500 picking machine. The buttery lasts for a full day work up to 10 hours without the need of charging. Charging is taking place over night.
All hydraulic motors and cylinders are powered by a lithium-ion battery equipped in the main machine body.
As no exhaust gas is emitted from the machine, it eliminates withering of the crops and plants, and there are no ventilation issues due to exhaust gas when carrying out the crop picking.
In addition, a significant level of noise reduction is realized as there is no engine – the mini excavator can adapt to a variety of field conditions within its application range, including construction works in cities where excellent noise reduction is especially desired.
Also, working speed is versatile according to the operator need and the landscape conditions. The electric engine can reach high speed saving time and money for the grower.
